Well worn piece now has deluxe bluing on steel and ceramic finish on the grip frame to match the bluing. Aluminum on a .357 revolver??? Really!

We have applied a deluxe finish to the top and bottom of the receiver and a proprietary "brush blue" to the engraved area which is "low gloss" but disguises the pits without disturbing the engraving.

...and the low gloss finish disguises most of the pitting, still allows a rich dark blue AND didn't hurt the lettering.

The finished product has a low gloss shine that is extremely similar both inside and outside of the pitted areas. Color is deep and surface is protected. Rough surfaces have been significantly muted and engraving preserved.

Hot bluing now takes place basically the same as with regularly polished metal.

Note that engraving and lettering is saved. The biggest problem with polishing a pitted firearm is the blurring and removal of original markings.

Stainless steel brushes are use to blend surfaces...both pitted and non-pitted to the same level of shine.

Specific air pressure and media are used to profile the steel as well as remove all rust and coatings from pitted areas.
